For glazing in
listed buildings and for display cases
SICURTEC_SLIM is the thinnest safety glass with polycarbonate in the world and is ideal for glazing thin windows in listed buildings and display cases.
The pioneering safety glass with polycarbonate is available in a thickness of just 7 mm, making it 40% thinner and lighter than laminated safety glass and 73% lighter than conventional bulletproof glass. Even the thinnest version can withstand severe burglary scenarios. This makes it perfect for glazing in listed buildings, historic framed windows or display cases in jewellers and museums.
Our product is tested, certified and also offers a lot of other advantages
- P5A is available from a thickness of 7 mm (13 kg/m2) (almost P6B)
- Perfect for listed buildings with very thin frame windows
- Ideal for smaller windows and display cases in museums and jewellers
- P6B is available from a thickness of 10 mm (17 kg/m2)
- P8B is available from a thickness of 14 mm (22 kg/m2)
- P8B triple insulating glass (U=0.6 W/m2K) is available from a thickness of 36 mm (37 kg/m2)
SICURTEC_SLIM is used wherever special emphasis is put on lightness and aesthetics

SICURTEC_SLIM with a thickness of 7 mm upwards withstands 26 blows (350 Nm each) of 30 necessary with the hydraulic axe and therefore virtually achieves burglar resistance in accordance with P6B. By comparison: SICURTEC's tests determined that a person can only achieve 150-200 Nm per axe blow using their own strength.
